At Lotus, we believe that our site on the World Wide Web plays a strategic role in changing the way we all do business going forward. The so-called information highway is responsible for a shift in the business paradigm. (See what Lotus has to say about this in John Landry's online presentation: "The New 'Three Guys in a Garage...New Ways for Deploying Notes'".) We want our web site to reflect those changes. Further, the very building of this web site is of strategic importance to us (and to those of you who are webmasters and web-site managers) because we're using a combination of Notes and our InterNotes Web Publisher tools to build it. These technologies enable you to manage, update, and maintain your information and to programmatically populate your web site. The Lotus Notes Internet Cookbook tells you how. This week we're also using our web site to launch the new version of ScreenCam at a special introductory price. This is a precursor to further activity around electronic commerce.
Having said that, we want to be sure you know that what you see here today, and where we're going with this, are two different things. To date the Lotus Webmaster has received nearly 500 messages from you and we're working hard to incorporate your feedback. While this "under construction" sign sits on the surface of our web site, we are currently hard at work behind the scenes to provide the content, products, and services that will truly add value to your Internet experience.
Please watch this web site for small frequent updates as well as dramatic sweeping changes. And thank you for stopping by.
