Welcome to the Csound Front Page coming from the Department of Music at Leeds University with information for users of Barry Vercoe's (picture) Csound programme from the Music and Cognition Group of the MIT Media Lab .

You can:

Reach version 2 of the MIT Csound Manual on the server here at Leeds. Please report any problems with version 2 to me (p.j.nix@leeds.ac.uk). Once it stabilises I shall be making the whole manual available as a downloadable tar.Z file for local mounting.
Reach version 1 of the MIT Csound Manual on the server at the TNT of Hannover.
Read the Csound FAQ maintained by Martin Dupras (duprasm@ere.umontreal.ca).
Find details of the Csound discussion list hosted at Exeter University.
Get the Mac and Unix versions of the Csound programme and its associated materials (including the text, MSWord for Mac, and Postscript versions of the manual) by ftp from cecelia.media.mit.edu/pub/Csound. A version of the Csound programme for PC can be got by ftp from ftp.maths.bath.ac.uk/pub/dream.
