.. A memorandum from the Center Information
Technology Security Manager (CITSM) to all new LaRC computer users, which
addresses concerns about computer security in the open computing environment
at the Langley Research Center(LaRC). A signed acknowledgement of reading
and understanding the CITSM's memorandum is requested. The necessary form
may be obtained from your DCM, or by printing in postscript format,
the NEW USER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT.
What would you do if you detected a suspicious activity on a LaRC computer? How to initiate the reporting process is defined for LaRC users.
Any suspicious activity on a LaRC computer system should be reported immediately to the system administrator, and/or supervisor. If the incident cannot be resolved it should be reported to one of the following Information Technology Security personnel:
