Our Home Away From Home On The Internet
The Southwest Airlines "Home Gate" is the starting point on your journey through our new website and ultimately to one or more of the 45 cities served by Southwest Airlines throughout the United States. We have made every effort to make this stop on the World Wide Web intuitive, not obvious; humorous, not glib; and above all, rich enough in content to keep you coming back to visit us whenever you need information about Southwest Airlines.
The Home Gate Index presently consists of 29 topics, from our AT&T Wireless Air-to-Ground Telephone Service to the Wright Amendment. All of the topics can be accessed from the Home Gate, but it is up to you to figure out how. The graphic has been designed with your curiosity in mind, assuming the Home Gate visitor will take the time to explore the links contained therein.
Should you choose to fly Southwest, you will be accommodated on one of our more than 200 Boeing 737 jet aircraft. With a fleet that is 100% Boeing 737 equipment, that part is both simple and guaranteed. Things get a bit less predictable if you're particular to the paint scheme on the outside of your plane. The photo gallery will give you an idea of what we mean...
To plan your flight on Southwest, simply consult the flight schedule. You may even shop for fares that best meet your travel requirements (Unrestricted, Friends Fly Free, Advance Purchase, etc.). You will eventually still need to place a phone call to Southwest Reservations in order to book your flight. Be sure to specify whether you would like to pick up a ticket or try our new Ticketless Travel system.
If you would like to know more about the 45 cities served by Southwest, access the convenient city information we have compiled. Want to know more about the airport you will be flying to or from (or just avoid getting lost)? Check airport information. If you would prefer that we do all the planning, let us arrange an all-inclusive vacation for you including airfare, hotel, and rental car, through our FunPack Vacation packages.
Finally, if you just want more information about Southwest Airlines, we will be happy to accommodate you. Herb's welcome is a brief greeting from our wild and crazy CEO, Herb Kelleher. For the latest and greatest news about Southwest Airlines, our most recent Annual Report to Shareholders and press releases from the past three months are also archived for your review.
We hope you enjoy your visit to www.iflyswa.com as much as the iflyswa.com(mittee) has enjoyed the project development effort. See you in cyberspace!
