HANS BETHE'S 60 YEARS AT CORNELL ARE CELEBRATED WITH A TWO-DAY SYMPOSIUM MARCH 31-APRIL 1

Nineteen ninety-five marks the 60th anniversary of Hans Bethe's arrival at Cornell University. On March 31 and April 1, we will celebrate this magnificent career with a scientific symposium, a university convocation, and a banquet.

In addition, the Carl A. Kroch Library has mounted an excellent exhibition on Bethe's career which can be viewed in their beautiful subterranean gallery through April 15.
