The Eisenhower National Clearinghouse for Mathematics and Science Education
To fulfill its mission to support improvement of teaching and learning in K-12 mathematics and science, the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse for Mathematics and Science Education (ENC) makes available, free of charge, an array of products and services to teachers and other educators.
The ENC Digital Curriculum Laboratory (DCL) is a unique resource developed to assist teachers in locating high quality instructional resources, or creating new ones. Among the components of the DCL are an extensive grouping of ENC Internet Resources for science and math teaching as well as the ENC Catalog of Curriculum Resources.
The ENC Catalog of Curriculum Resources is a major new tool for educators. It describes a comprehensive, multimedia and electronic collection of materials and programs for K-12 mathematics and science education.
ENC encourages and facilitates the sharing of curriculum resources and welcomes suggestions of additional Internet resources of interest to science and mathematics teachers. If you wish to participate in building this resource, please follow theENC submission and cataloging guidelines.
ENC also encourages collaborative activities between providers of online information resources of interest to the math and science education community. This effort, CAMSED (Coalition of Automated Mathematics and Science Education Databases), focuses on inter-operability across databases.
The Clearinghouse is located at Ohio State University and is funded through a contract with the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Educational Research and Improvement.
