Both beginners and more advanced users of MIDI will (hopefully) find something of their benefit on the MIDI Home Page. Any reactions/contributions are welcome.

If you are a complete novice in the world of MIDI and would like to know something more about it, it might a good idea to take a look at the popular-writen introduction into MIDI .

Once you are ready to dig into the real ins-and-outs of MIDI, both the elaborate specifications or the more simpler overview of all the MIDI commands are very helpful. Furthermore, information about the MIDI standard format sample dumps through the SDS specification is available.

Lots of people are confused with the differences between GM and GS. We now have a concise explanation on-line.

Currently, a few MIDI sequences in GS format from my hand are available. The number of sequences will be increased in the near future.
