[Yale seal] Welcome to AI at Yale University!

The Yale AI group is a part of Yale Computer Science and the Yale Vision and Robotics Group. We are interested in understanding problems in planning, vision, navigation, and manipulation that are central to the construction of intelligent autonomous systems.

A recent article on Artificial Intelligence Research at Yale outlines some of our efforts. We also have an extensive list of technical reports that describe our work in detail. However, if you'd like an online summary, choose one of the topics below.

Current Research Projects:

[Little Robot] planning, reasoning and spatial mapping

[Tracking pic] realtime visual tracking

[HandEye Fig] hand-eye coordination

[Yale seal] and vision-based grasping.
