The newly elected Assembly Speaker, DORIS ALLEN welcomes you to the California Assembly Homepage. Doris Allen is the first Republican Speaker of the House in 25 years and the first woman Speaker of the House in California's history.

The Members of the Assembly are listed with their phone numbers and addresses. You can view the Assembly Television Schedule to determine the date and times events will be recorded, browse through. Committee Hearings schedule, or review the Daily Files to find out the agenda for the Assembly & Senate. The Legislative Calendar includes the important dates, committee and bill deadline information for the 1995-96 regular session. You can easily search for and display Legislative bill information using the California Senate Server.
