The Running Page
Important Notice
I have started to clear out my backlog of requests to add clubs,
races, and other URLs that are backlogged. I hope to clear them out
in the next two weeks.
Last Update 29 March 1995
The Running Page is your source for information about running on the Web. it
is one of several that are up and running. I have listed the others
later in this document. This page is still growing. Send me email if you have any comments.
The Running Page contains information about upcoming races, race
results, places to run, running related products, magazines, and
other information. As I become aware of running information I
include it in this page. I need your help to make it a true web
document. If you can provide a link to your local area's races or
running information please click here. I
will include it within 24 hours. For faster processing use one of the templates. I have prepared and mail them to
<drears@pilot.njin.net>.
Information Request Of The Month
Each month I am requesting from readers info on a particular topic.
This month I want to beef up the section on running clubs. At a
minimum, I need the name of the club and an address. A phone number
and short discussion point would be great. Click here to provide club info.
To make other suggestions, comments, or provide information click here.

A list of personal bests(records) was started by Scott McCamish
(Scott McCamish) on the rec.running USENET newsgroup. Brian Rush
<rush@eggneb.astro.ucla.edu> volunteered to compile the list
and he still maintains it. Click here to see
it.

country and road racing. Click here for

Run on and on in any of 130 cities in the U.S., with maps from the
Exercise Trails Network. The American Running and Fitness
Association has been collecting maps of favorite running and
exercise trails from members and others. The maps share insider
info about such favorite trails as the L.A. Leggers training route
in Santa Monica, Ca., with descriptions of landmarks, terrain and
mileage. Contributing a map entitles even non-members to a free
map in exchange-or send $1 for a map to 4405 East west Highway,
Suite 405, Bethesda, Md. 20814. For a list of cities in the
network, call 301-913-9517 or 800-776-2732.
