What's Hot and Cool on the Web
Now with the added dirt-fighting power of Perl[TM]!
Lots of spots accessible via WWW are quick zip-in, zip-out visits. Not all
inspire you to explore every possible link and image. However, there is plenty
out there! Some real gold mines.
Here are some of the places I have visited recently along with a
short review and description
(in the medium and large versions) for those of you who don't trust me!
(I guess these are less like reviews, since
I will only put things here that I like -- so considered them selective reviews!)
NOTE: These pointers were up at one time, and that is all I know.
I appreciate email saying there is a problem or change in these pages, but
just don't expect me to be able to fix them! Thanks.
Oh, and, of course, I'd love
e-mail suggestions on
other WWW sites related to experimental-art, fringe, bizarre, underground, avant garde, and Random
Cool Things.

Five versions are now available so you can get the detail you want. All contain
the same pointers, just look a little different.
NOTE: Not only are the regular versions generated by perl magic, but
now you can choose CUSTOMIZABLE lists that remember your
favorites and show you only what's new next time!
(Please let me know if you like this / if it works / etc.)
>> Current number of links: 212 (listed in order of inclusion, oldest first)
- Small
or Custom
- Just a name. Short, but sweet. May be unclear
what some pages are, but hey, that's what condensed gets you.
- Medium
or Custom
- Basically the full-blown thing, just no inline GIFs.
Much quicker, but not as pretty on your little colour box.
- Large
or Custom
- Like above but with little pictures. Gives a short
description of what you'll be seeing. Nice "relaxing" wait for all images to load.
- Image-only
or Custom
- For the textually challenged! Doesn't do you a
whole hell of a lot of good, but hey, since when has this mattered on the net? Kinda like throwing
a dart at a map to determine where you are going to travel.
- Constellation
or Custom
- Wow! This could possibly be more pointless than the Image-only version. Just
a big bunch of stars. What can I say? I went nuts with perl.
Enjoy.
