This service (provided by the Economics Department of Washington University ), is devoted to electronic working papers in Economics in 22 subject areas, along with a test posting area and a meetings area, an area for programs and an area for data. Other areas are added when demand dictates. Most papers are available for viewing via PostScript viewers. Other services may be added in the future. You should read our copyright notice.
There are other PostScript papers in Economics, mostly gopher and ftp servers. There are some other WWW Economics servers , you should look at Bill Goffe's new Version 9 Resources for Economists, Some other interesting WWW servers, stuff about St. Louis , the U. City Loop area and a picture of Nobel Prize Winner Doug North 256 color or 16 level gray scale.
Index to Abstracts searches all areas. Or, try the highly experimental author find form (>6k) or title find form (>15k) which are updated weekly at most.
Below are the lists: click on the JEL category . The number in [] ({}) is the number of papers (postscript papers) in each section. There can be more than one .ps file for each paper and there may be no .ps file for some papers.

This is a service works most of the time but occaisionally needs repairs.
On April 25, we changed the server to the NCSA httpd server. PLEASE, if you find anything going wrong, let me know at bparks@wuecona.wustl.edu . You could mail comments to Bob Parks with some clients that are viewing this.
A test version of some help files that we hope will make it easier. Under development, being constructed, use at own risk, don't click here if you expect anything really useful yet.
To show the cool cross referencing possibilities, here is a paper on Physics at mentor.lanl.gov's gopher by Piram and Strominger that shows quite a few back and forward references. You could go visit the physics archive yourself, www at xxx.lanl.gov or gopher at mentor.lanl.gov .
