CPSR is a non-profit, public interest organization concerned with the effects of computers on society. CPSR is supported by its membership and has chapters throughout the country. The internet site cpsr.org has many discussion lists on topics of interest, as well as numerous publications.
CPSR sponsors conferences such as our 1994 Annual Meeting, Directions and Implications in Advanced Computing (DIAC), and the Participatory Design Conference (PDC). CPSR also sponsored the original Computers, Freedom and Privacy (CFP) conference, which now functions as an independent entity. We archive the preceedings and transcripts here.
