I now have the capability to scan 35 mm slides and to digitize material from virtually any medium. If you have any materials you would like to contribute, e.g. favorite lectures, photos, 35 mm slides, sounds or movies, please send me an email message describing their contents prior to sending them. This will minimize duplications. All materials must be available for non-commercial, educational purposes but you can copyright them to prohibit commercial use. Sources of materials will be acknowledged and you may include your own short statement of use restrictions. For more information on the usage of Internet materials see the document Intellectual Property and the National Information Infrastructure.
It is not necessary, but I would prefer that you submit your text already in HTML format to save me time. CLICK HERE for help on learning html.
I encourage all to set up their own servers, it is really quite simple. Building Internet Servers is a collection of information and links to resources about building Internet servers for a variety of microcomputer platforms. Click here for HTTPD 1.4, the server program for MS Windows PC's that I use.
I would also like to provide links to other relevant biological sciences teaching and research materials on the web. If you have a home page or favorite URLs please send me their addresses. I welcome suggestions as to what subdisciplines they should be listed under. Otherwise don't complain if you don't like where your URL is placed!
I make these pages for Microsoft Windows Mosaic. Sometimes they look different on Mac and X-Windows Mosaic. If you note mistakes, please bring them to my attention. CLICK HERE TO SEND ME COMMENTS.
Special thanks to Jerry Wilkinson for providing considerable technical advice and the Academic Opportunities Fund for Instructional Technology of the California State University system for generous financial support.
