The Almanac, the Grateful Dead's official newsletter, is our latest way of keeping in touch with the Deadhead community, something we've been doing since the band's inception in the 1960s. Published since the fall of 1993, the Almanac features reports on individual and collective activities of band members, information about good causes such as the Rex Foundation, a continuing comic strip and much more. The Almanac also incorporates the Grateful Dead Mercantile Company's catalog, featuring music, books, clothing and lots of other Dead-related goodies.
We reach over 100,000 subscribers on the band's mailing list. Now you CyberHeads out there can get into the act. Let us know what you think, what messages you have for the band, what you'd like to see in the Almanac, etc. You can also order merchandise from our catalog, by following the instructions on page 7.
