What is this Place?

The Callahan's newsgroup alt.callahans is an Internet newsgroup. You can access it either by using your favourite newsreading program, your World Wide Web browser, or the Gopher server at the University of Oregon.

To understand what sort of things happen in alt.callahans, you can refer to this quick introduction. For a much more detailed explanation, please read the Allabout file, which is the Callahan's equivalent of a Frequently Asked Questions file.
