These trial pages reflect the varieties of image project work currently being undertaken in our Department, namely:
(1) An interactive student tutorial on the history of prints
(2) Architecture and architectural sculpture in the Mediterranean Basin; and
(3) Point-and-click system for the National Gallery of Australia.
The separate pages for projects 1 & 2 themselves offer springboards to some sample images.
It is my eventual intention to make the images under (1) and (2) above available to the international community, under minimal safeguards: there seems to me little point in having networks if images cannot be freely shared across them for scholarly (not commercial) purposes! I would be most interested to hear from users who wish for further access to our collections which, ideally, should all be available on the network.
