Speech and Debate Home Page
The renowned Monta Vista Speech and Debate team has their own home page
now. Learn about the speakers and debaters that have consistently won
many awards at the local, state, and national levels.
Music Department, Cupertino Pages Updated
The sections on Monta Vista's Music department and the
city of Cupertino have been extensively expanded and
brought up to date.

pages now. Check them out!
The pulse of the passions of MV students... online right now, under
Information.
There is now a section of Frequently Asked Questions about common Internet
applications at Monta Vista.
February 20, 1995 - Top-level reorganization
and new Help section
The home page
has a revamped look, with new, original, fresh icons by yours truly.
Also, a new section has been added to provide
hypertext, interactive tutorials and help on using the Internet for new
students and staff members getting online. All resources on using or
developing for the net itself are now consolidated here as well.
Alumni Registration Form
Alumni registration has now been made easier with a new fill out form.
It
represents my first effort at form and cgi-bin development, so give it a
whirl!
February 19, 1995 - Resources and Alumni update
The Resources section has been updated, including
many new links relating to Web development, and pointers to help for using
various Internet resources. Another batch of names were also added to the
MV alumni list.
January 27, 1995 - Monta Vista Marching Band
The award-winning
Monta Vista Marching
Band now has its own page in the
music section, including some .au sound clips for your listening pleasure.
Ken Todd's Home Page
Computer Support Specialist Ken
Todd has become the first MV
staff member to have a home page, containing some information about the
hardware, software, and network technology at MV he works with each day.
January 20, 1995 - Monta Vista
Girls Basketball
Follow Monta Vista Girls
Basketball on their quest for a State Championship with game results
posted after each game along with team statistics, feature articles,
and pictures from local and national publications.
Now that first semester finals are almost over, the MV WWW server is
scheduled for a major revision. In the coming days, look for...
- Netscape-enhanced HTML source code
- Transparent and interlaced GIFs
- Enhanced feedback forms
- Major revision of online information
- Addition of more general information about the school
- Major revision of links to educational sources
- Some audio files
- More publications online, including student works like Spectrum and
academic publications like the Journal of Molecular Biology
- FAQs about this server and Monta Vista
- A local home page for Monta Vista students and staff to use to explore the
net

(Note: Be warned! His page has a huge (600K) inline GIF image. In fact,
when I first looked at his page, it crashed our version of WinMosaic!
(although our other browsers work fine, and the image is pretty wacky too) ;)
