The MIT Laboratory for Computer Science (LCS) is an interdepartmental laboratory whose principal goal is research in computer science and engineering. The Laboratory's current research falls into four principal categories: Parallel Systems; Distributed Systems, Languages, and Networks; Intelligent Systems; and Theory.
