Apologies...
to all those who tried to contact our server in the last couple of weeks.
Due to unfortunate hardware failures (two 1Gb-hard disks crashed AND our tape
streamer backup facility also broke down!!) this service has recently been
unavailable, and the current level of service has dropped back to what little
was available end of July '94. As we suffer from actual data loss it will take
some time and resources to bring us back up to the level we had achieved and
many of you will have enjoyed up to mid-January '95. Sorry...(and regards from Murphy!)
NEW since March 1995: This server is now runing on a PC using
WHTTPD v1.4 for Windows
and surprisingly enough it's still working.
