HungerWeb Home Page -- We can end hunger
HungerWeb is a project of the Alan Shawn Feinstein
World Hunger
Program of Brown University. The
aim of HungerWeb is to help prevent
and eradicate hunger and promote sustainable development by
facilitating and encouraging the free exchange of ideas and information.
If you are seeking an introduction to the issues related to
hunger or are just browsing, you are encouraged to peruse the Browser's page.
At present, the HungerWeb seeks to provide useful information to
four publics: researchers, activists and advocates. educators and
trainers, and field workers. The presentation is tailored to meet the needs
of the user. You should consider adding to your hotlist the entry-point
class that is most useful to you.

- Data, research results, bibliographies, tools and methodologies
for hunger-related research from around the world including governments
and interational organizations.
- Advocacy
and Policy
- Advocacy material, policy documents, upcoming projects and
legislation, Relief and Development Organizations, fund raising
and contributions (via ReliefNet).
- Education
and Training
- Syllabi, training materials and interactive multimedia presentations for
primary and secondary school, undergraduate and graduate (professional)
programs, and field training.
- Field
Work
- Remote sensing data, situation updates, reference materials and other
resources useful to those directy engaged in hunger prevention and
mitigation.
