The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is pleased to announce the initial alpha release of a set of Microsoft Word for Windows macros to facilitate HTML document authoring. The macros are contained in a document template (GT_HTML.DOT) which provides a pseudo WYSIWYG authoring environment. This realease is an updated and improved version of GT_HTML, with many new features. Please note that while the original GT_HTML was written for Word for Windows 2.0, the new version is written for Word for Windows 6.0, and will only run in that environment (work is underway to port it to MacWord 6.0).
