This new directory is still partially under construction. Though some resources are now included many more will shortly follow. This page will be populated with scores of useful documents and resources to facilitate the sale of Government assets to the general public. FinanceNet will be the Internet "clearing house" for all public offerings of Government assets...Federal, state and local in an attempt build efficiencies and reduce the cost to taxpayers of offering these assets for sale.

The National Science Foundation has developed an extensive package of Internet communications tools to facilitate this major, joint outreach effort to provide links and information services to government financial managers worldwide. In designing and supporing FinanceNet, NSF is proactively matching the NPR's vision and mission of encouraging the sharing of new ideas, best practices, success stories, financial documents, lessons learned and other interesting avenues to improving financial management practices at all levels of government across all geopolitical boundaries.
Joint Financial Management Improvement Program
FinanceNet represents the information clearing house of the Joint Financial Management Improvement Program, a joint cooperative undertaking of the Office of Management and Budget, the
U.S. General Accounting Office the
U.S. Department of the Treasury
and the Office of Personnel Management, working in cooperation with each other and with operating agencies to improve financial management practices throughout the government.
