NanoNet: Penn State University National Nanofabrication User Network

The Penn State site of the National Nanofabrication Users Network (NNUN) is located in the interdisciplinary Electronic Materials and Processing Research Laboratory (EMPRL) on the Penn State University Park campus in State College, PA. The Penn State NNUN site provides a fully hands-on environment for student, faculty, and staff users. Full-time staff install and maintain the equipment and train users.

EMPRL has a Microfabrication facility with 4000 sq. ft. of class 100 and class 1000 cleanrooms and a new Nanofabrication Facility with 1400 sq. ft. of class 10 and class 100 cleanrooms. It also has some 4000 sq. ft. in office space with offices set aside for visitors. The EMPRL Microfabrication Facility is within easy walking distance of the University's Nittany Lion Inn, and the new Nanofabrication Facility is adjacent to the University's new Scanticon Hotel.
