The Virtual Tourist service reports two sources for WWW-based information relating to Ireland on its European map:

• The authoritative list of WWW servers located in Ireland is also in the form of a resource map. A slightly different list is provided in text form by Broadcom Éireann Research. In theory, servers in Northern Ireland should also appear on the United Kingdom map at Edinburgh. They do appear on the University of Wolverhampton map. The Projects Group at UCD are working on an alternative map of Irish servers. Finally, there's a combined map of Ireland and Britain at University College London.
• Liam Relihan at the University of Limerick maintains Ireland: The Internet Collection. The Bureau of Public Affairs of the U.S. Department of State provides background notes on Ireland.
