San Diego Model Railroad Museum
A special thanks to Brian Satterlee who sent these layout photos on
behalf of the San Diego Model Railroad Museum. The first which
represents an HO
scale layout modeled after the early 1950's, was created by the La Mesa
Model Railroad Club. The photo shows only a small part of the 24,000
square foot model railroad museum, located in Balboa Park.
The second depicts N scale models of the San Diegans waiting to be
turned
for the run to Los Angeles. The scene was created by the San Diego Society
of N scale. The San Diego Depot shown in the picture was scaled from
actual railroad drawings.
