Candlestick Park is the home of the San Francisco Giants baseball club. If you have ever been there before, you are no doubt familiar with its location and setting. If you are not, then here are some useful facts:
Here are the ticket prices for the 1994 season:
The best place to sit in Candlestick Park, of course, is the bleacher section. It's the warmest part of the ballpark, you'll get the closest to the field of any section of the ballpark, and you can be really, really, really, really close to Barry Bonds.
We miss Will Clark, though. As you might recall, he signed a free agent contract with the Texas Rangers, for reasons we don't understand. Some say it has to do with the fact that Will wanted a longer contract than the Giants were offering. Some claim i t was just stupidity. In my opinion, I just think it was transition for the ballclub. We will see what happens this season.
Candlestick Park, like any locale where a professional franchise would play, has fud service. Last season, they got different people to run the basic service, and restaurants to run franchise speciality booths. All of this is very cool, and as soon as I know who will be participating in the 1994 season, I will post it here.
I do not know if geeks really qualify as baseball fans (some might), but I think there should be Baseball Runs where we go and sit in the bleachers. Then we could be Bleecher Geeks. (snicker). I have a shirt of that; I will be scanning it soon. I used to think that shirt was kinda self-degrading, until I learned what pride can be had at the term "geek". Oh well. :)
Here are some tips for food runs while at Candlestick Park.
There should be more coming to this site soon; keep watching as Spring Training approaches...
