Duke University Center for Academic Computing

The Center for Academic Computing (also known as the Computer ASSIST Center) supports the University in all areas of research and educational computing. The staff consists of full-time employees as well as undergraduate students enrolled in Trinity College and the School of Engineering.

Some major areas of support include:

DEC and SGI Unix workstations (the "acpub" system)
DOS PC clusters
Macintosh clusters
Software site licenses
NC-REN (formerly CONCERT) video network teleconferences and teleclasses
