Recent Changes

• HENSA Unix is an official mirror of the Netscape anonymous ftp server. The Netscape server is often very busy and so taking advantage of local mirrors is recommended. New versions of the Netscape Navigator software are mirrored to HENSA Unix in advance of them being announced.

• The General Coverage Tool from the Computer Science department at the University of Illinois is now being mirrored on a regular basis.

• HENSA Unix has a mirror of the of the HotJava browser (alpha distribution) from Sun. This browser allows code written in the Java language to be passed from a Web server to client and run on the client machine safely! Check out the HotJava home page.

• HENSA Unix now provides a mirror of the 3DVIEWNIX Package from the Medical Image Processing Group, Department of Radiology, University of Pennsylvania.

• The HENSA Unix Public Caching Proxy has been suffering as a result of its own popularity. The machine hosting the cache could not handle the load and a new machine has been brought in to take on the burden.
