Welcome to our WWW Server "PATREUS" of the HPC Lab in the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department at the University of Patras. The server is still under construction and new services are constantly being added.

Look out also for a descriptive list and presentation of our departments' (CEID) activities, sectors, etc., which will be added in the near future.

Apart from this first server in the pretty city of Patras, you can also take a look at a general map of Web resources and other NIRs located in Greece.

There are also a number of hyperlinks to the famous Web sites of CERN (the actual home of W3) and NCSA (developers of Mosaic). Last, but not least, follow the references for those who want to take a closer look at a complete list of W3 Servers throughout the world, sorted by country, and the famous World Wide Web Virtual Library.

Within our immediate future plans is the bilingual porting of the server, both in Greek and English. For the time being, take a look at a short introductory paragraph of Greek text and an experimental Greek version of Patreus (requires ELOT-928 fonts).
