The Planet-ISDN communication board connects your Macintosh to the worldwide Integrated Services Digital Network. Working as a background task on your Macintosh, the "Planet-ISDN Phone" is a telephony software application that manages incoming and outgoing voice calls on one of the B channels. Among its features you'll find a built-in directory.

Planet-ISDN is available and approved for use in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zeland, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States. In the US the Planet Board works on ISDN lines originating from AT&T 5ESS, Northern Telecom DMS-100, or Siemens EWSD central office switches (both custom and National ISDN 1 lines).
