Gazel-ISDN Board
Compact 2B+D ISDN Card for PCs
The Gazel card opens up the world of high-speed telecommunications to you by connecting your PC to international ISDN.
Gazel enables you to simultaneously run several ISDN applications: file transfer (such as EasyTransfer for Windows), interconnection of remote and local networks, multi-access communication servers, videoconferencing, remote control and collaboration, etc..
The Gazel card has been designed to work in PC-AT based microcomputers that have an ISA 8 or 16 bit bus. It interfaces with MS-DOS, Windows, Novell, and Unix operating systems.
Flexibility
The Gazel board (also known as Gazel-2B board) offers the capability to assign the two B channels to data transfer. This enables you to simultaneously communicate with two different sites at 64 Kbit/sec or with a single site at 128 Kbit/sec. Rate adaptation is also supported for 56 Kbit/sec connections.
Telephony Management
Working as a background task on your PC, the "Gazel Phone" is a telephony software application that manages incoming and outgoing voice calls on one of the B channels. Among its features you'll find a built-in directory.
Worldwide Dimension
The Gazel-ISDN board is available and approved for use in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zeland, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States. In the US the Gazel Board works on ISDN lines originating from AT&T 5ESS, Northern Telecom DMS-100, or Siemens EWSD central office switches (both custom and National ISDN 1 lines).
