Introduction

David Taylor Model Basin, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, provides the Navy with vast realm of expertise in a variety of areas. We are in the forefront of many of the U.S. Department of Defense and Navy CALS initiatives. We are the Navy's focal point for SGML. We are the lead among the Tri-Service (Navy, Air Force, Army) in the standardization and development of Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs).

Purpose

The purpose of the Navy CALS SGML DTD/FOSI Repository is to provide a single easy-to-use informational repository for the Navy. This Repository will contain information pertaining to CALS in the Navy. All certified Navy DTDs and FOSIs are available on the Repository for downloading. If you have questions about Navy CALS initiatives, please contact the appropriate CALS program representative.
