First, determine objectives for your commercial presence on Internet:

• Do you want to provide information about your company?

• Do you want to sell information, tools, or entertainment that can be delivered over the Internet?
• Do you want take orders for products or services that will be delivered via other means?
• Do you want to start a new service using the Internet as a platform?

Cyberspace Development offers several options in Marketplace:

Marketplace Internet Brochure (tm)

An informative advertisement in Marketplace.com that can be browsed by anyone, anytime. Your Brochure can be linked to other areas of advertising on the Internet and can be found by potential customers who search using tools such as "Veronica". The Brochure offers the ability to create a one-stop information center for customers to learn more about your company and your products. Can include descriptions of your company, descriptions of all your products, testimonials by satisfied customers, complete contact information, etc. (Available as a set of gopher menus or as multiple WWW/Mosaic pages.)

Marketplace Internet Store (tm)

This includes all the functionality of the Internet Brochure plus the important feature of being able to accept credit cards online. You can sell and deliver electronic products or use it as a front-end to sell physical products. (Available as a set of gopher+ menus or, when available, as multiple WWW/Mosaic pages.)

We can have either of these options online for you in 1 to 3 weeks depending on the details of your project and our pre-existing workload.

As with any endeavor you also need to determine your budget. How much can you afford to spend each month to maintain your presence on the Internet? We encourage our customers to budget for several months of operation to allow time for word to spread about your business on the Internet.

The Marketplace charges consist of a one-time setup fee, a fixed monthly fee, variable fee for storage (per megabyte), and a small charge for each credit card transaction and/or order notification.

You have the choice of establishing your own credit card merchant account or using the Marketplace account.

Cyberspace Development offers a referral reward of 5%. If you refer a new client to us and we sign a contract with that new client you receive a check for 5% of the initial contract value.
