The Lounge is Bustling with Activity

Ever since Joe, Charles, and Gregg removed the four 100-pound Joyce harddrives on 2/21, the lounge in BCT617 has been busier than ever. The room feels a lot bigger now, and we filled some of the space with a huge bookshelf to be filled within a few days. IEEE members will now have easier access to our literature (and TEST FILE) than ever before.

Enter Dante

Joe LoCicero finished turning the machine in our lounge from Morse-Cad5 into Dante, an XWindows station which boots off Joyce. All IEEE members have access to it just as they have access to Joyce. If you don't have access to Joyce yet, please let Angie Chan know, and she'll get you an account. The system is way too fast to be stuck using Minerva!

Refreshments

Drinks and candy are now available for $0.50 each in Becton 617! That's a 50% discount off of the vending machine prices - and we have a wonderful selection:
o Fruit Juices
o Chilled Flavored Iced Teas
o Carbonated C&C brand sodas, including Cream Soda and Root Beer
o Candy Bars also available for $0.50 each.
