Welcome to the Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering
We have a new name! On March 9, 1995, the Board of Regents of the
University of Minnesota approved our name change from Agricultural Engineering
to Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering!
The Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering is located on the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota.
The campus includes the Colleges of Agricultural, Food, and Environmental Sciences;
Biological Sciences; Natural Resources; Human Ecology; and Veterinary Medicine. It is situated in the heart of a pleasant residential neighborhood, which gives it a small-town atmosphere, and it is about ten minutes from the Minneapolis campus, and is easily accessible by inter-campus bus.
The Department's most recent (November 1994) Annual Report describes our current efforts in teaching, research and extension/outreach.
