Agricultural Lands

EMAP's Agricultural Lands Resource Group assesses the status and trends in the condition of the nation's agricultural ecosystems, which include land used for crops, pasture, and livestock; adjacent uncultivated land that supports other vegetation and wildlife; and the associated atmosphere, underlying soils, ground water, and drainage networks. The Agroecosystem Resource Group is a cooperative effort of EPA and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service.
