The Scientific Applications Branch is in the Information Systems Division under the Internal Operations Group. SAB is responsible for the operation of the Geometry Laboratory (GEOLAB); the Data Visualization and Animation Laboratory (DVAL): the High Performance Computing and Communications Program (HPCCP) Testbed Computers; the Earth Observing System Data Information System (EOSDIS) Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC); and LaRC access to the Numerical Aerodynamic Simulator (NAS) and the Aeronautics Consolidated Supercomputer Facility (ACSF), both at Ames Research Center
