BELOIT COLLEGE
INVENT YOURSELF
The process of finding your own direction is far too personal an adventure to be standardized. At Beloit College in Wisconsin, you invent yourself. Our job - our commitment - is to provide resources that will allow you to develop to the fullest, starting with an extraordinary faculty in which even the most senior professors serve as advisors and mentors to first-year students and upperclassmen alike. Our "physical" resources include a modern science center and observatory, a performing arts complex with two theaters and a television studio, a state-of-the-art library, and a sports and fitness center. Beloit College, a four-year undergraduate liberal arts college, belongs to three elite groups: the "Science 50," "Business 50," and "International 50." Of the more than 3,000 college and universities in the United States only Beloit and 20 other institutions are members of all three groups. We meet these standards by producing an unusually high number of scientists and business executives, and by leading the way in preparing students for international service. In some recent years, Beloit College has graduated a greater proportion of Peace Corps volunteers than any other college or university in the nation. Of the "21" incidentally, Beloit College has the lowest tuition. In fact, four years at Beloit cost the same as three years at some of the other 20. Beloit offers a friendly small college environment that gives students many opportunities to grow and develop confidence and experience as mature and involved adults and caring community citizens.
