Games LogoDownloading The Games

The following games are available. Click on a game's picture to download a tar file containing the game. Choose a directory and filename for the downloaded tar file; "gameName.tar" is a good choice. Then, from the command line, untar the file. For example, if you grabbed slotcar.tar, do the following:
tar xvf slotcar.tar # This creates a slotcar/ directory
cd slotcar; ./slotcar # This runs the game
Once the games has been extracted, you may also run it from the desktop; just navigate into the appropriate directory and then double-click on the game's executable icon.

The sound files for the games have been resampled at a lower rate than the sounds on the Inventor Games CD, to save disk space on our ftp site and to save you downloading time.
