Indy Wins CADENCE Award
SAN FRANCISCO--Silicon Graphics' Indy system was recently recognized as
a leading product in the Computer Aided Design (CAD) marketplace. The
system was one of 14 winners of CADENCE Magazine's annual Editor's
Choice awards. Nominations for Editors' Choice were chosen in a poll
sent out to CADENCE's writers, as well as industry analysts and consultants
who specialize in the AutoCAD market. In all, more than 60 people
were polled for their opinions and they came back with 45 candidates.
From that list of 45, the editors took a look at each product, did
further surveys among readers and users, and nar rowed the field even
further. SGI and the other award winners will be highlighted in the
October issue of CADENCE magazine.
