SGI's Refurbishment Process

Every system from Silicon Graphics' System Remarketing undergoes a complete factory remanufacturing consisting of the following:

• all boards are updated to the latest revision level
  
• disk and tape drives are tested to manufacturing specifications
  
• monitors pass "new" quality specifications or are replaced with new
  
• new keyboards and mice are supplied with every system
  
• each system undergoes a full factory integration
  
• each system undergoes system level testing using SGI's proprietary diagnostics
  
• all skins meet "new" quality appearance standards
  
• systems ship with the latest revision of software and a registered software license
  
• each system comes with a complete set of documentation
  
• systems ship with a 90 day factory warranty
  
• all systems meet requirements for an SGI Support Contract
