Impressario File Formats
Impressario supports direct printing of a large number of file formats. Direct
printing means that you can simply submit the file to be printed without
having to perform manual file format conversion.
The following file formats may be printed directly:
- PostScript - Level 1 with the DPS, Color and File System extensions in
both ASCII and binary.
- Silicon Graphics Image - RGB and monochrome, 8-bit and 16-bit per color.
- JPEG
- PhotoCD
- TIFF 6.0
- GIF - 87 and 89 formats
- PPM
- PGM
- PBM
- FIT
- Stream TIFF (STIFF)
- Mail Messages
- ISO and ASCII text
- tar, bru, cpio, and ar archives
- troff and nroff source files (Documenter's Workbench product required)
- Directories
- Showcase files
