One enclosure for five 3"5 form factor disks, the other five 5 1/4. It incorporates an intelligent SCSI RAID controller configurable to RAID 0.3 and 5. Operating with every host hardware platforms which offers SCSI interface it si independent of all operating systems. No drivers are needed, and, it accepts heterogeneous disks.
Drive faults (hotplugged) failures in power supply or fan (hot plugged), abnormal temperature are identified by audible and visual alarms.
A report is given via R5 232 comm port.
Correcting problems is easy take a few minutes to reconstruct a disk, and reconstruction speed can be dynamically changed.
