Jack(R) is software for the definition, manipulation, animation, and human factors performance analysis of simulated human figures. Built on a powerful representation for articulated figures composed of joints and segments with boundary geometry, Jack offers the interactive user an extremely powerful 3-D interface. Among the analysis tasks addressed are human reach, view, and fit assessment under multiple constraints. Human figures are anthropometrically sized to user-specifiable databases available. Requirements: Any SGI, z-buffer (H/W or S/W), IRIX 4.0.5 or later, Min 16 Meg RAM. Jack '94 (v.5.8) is available now.
