Silicon Graphics supports the QuickTime file format and compression algorithms which include the Video Compressor, Animation Compressor and Photo Compressor (JPEG). The QuickTime file format provides a cross-platform movie interchange between Silicon Graphics, Macintosh and DOS/Windows platforms. The marketing code for the QuickTime Compressor Library is SC4-QTCL-1.0 and requires SC4-DMDEV-2.0, IDO and IRIX 5.2 or later.
