and libraries for developers that want to incorporate
interactive 3D graphics and integrated digital media

visual simulation--our toolkits and libraries can

The Development environment can be roughly classified as:
- Base Development: This consiste of IRIS
Development Option
(IRIS GL/Open GL,
ANSI C, and
IndigoMagic Development Kit)
and C++ Development Option.
- Specialized Toolkits: This consists of Performer, Impressario,
Inventor, and ImageVision
- Digital Media Libraries: This consists of IRIS Media Libraries for
Audio, Video, Compression, Movie, and Speech.
- Application Builder:
Explorer, a data visualization system.
- Software Development:
This consists of CASEVision (tm), a development environment offering
a uniquely visual approach to programming
All the libraries and toolkits are binary compatible
with Silicon Graphics full line of workstations,
servers, and supercomputers.
