This Self-Paced System Maintenance for the IRIS Indy course teaches field engineers and service personnel how to perform maintenance on an IRIS Indy workstation. Students learn to install, configure, troubleshoot, and verify the proper operation of the workstation.

Prerequisites

This course is intended for ...

Field or service engineers who are responsible for remedial or preventive maintenance on IRIS Indy
Students that have experience with UNIX or IRIX operations that traverse the filesystem, create, modify, and remove files, and edit text (vi text editor preferred)
It is recommended but not required that the student take Introduction to IRIX (T4-CHOICE) before this course.
Note: The student is overqualified if he or she is already servicing the POWER of Professional Series workstations.
