This course gives the experienced UNIX user the skills and knowledge needed to be a qualified systems administrator. Students are introduced to the key procedures for system booting and shutdown, backing up the system, handling software updates, and system troubleshooting and error recovery. Lab exercises are included to prepare students for the actual work environment.
