This falls into two categories: Context sensitive help is obtained by running the !Help application provided with RISC OS. As you move the pointer around and use applications, short messages will be displayed to remind you how they work. Help files provide larger quantities of text and/or illustration. They may be used to provide an on line manual or they may be used to provide extra information such as updates to the printed manual or hints and tips. The help file in all RISC OS applications is accessed in the same way: * Open a directory display containing the application. * Click the MENU button over the application. * Look in the application submenu (where the 'Delete' option is). * If there is a 'Help' option, choose it. Note that there is no need to run the application in order to read its help file. Some applications do not provide help and in these cases there will be no 'Help' option in the menu.
